AHA Fairy Girl

Paper Make-Up Stamps is having a design team call for the new Digi Makeover Challenge they are beginning and they have supplied two images to choose from.  It was hard to choose which one I liked better, but I decided to go with AHA Fairy.  (I admit I did make a fun card with Argus Monster that I'll share with you another time.)  Digital images have become SO popular and there's lots of reasons for it.  One of the most popular is the storage issue - they all stay on your computer until you are ready to print and use them.  Personally, I like digis because you can manipulate them easier than rubber stamps.  I can easily change the size or the direction the image is facing with a click of a button.  It's also easier to combine different  images together on the computer to create a scene or add a sentiment.

For this image, I did change the size a little, but that was all.  She's colored with Copic markers with touches of Creative Inspirations paints (Pink Highlights) on her heart.  I also combined the Pink Highlights paint with Spun Sugar Distress Stickles to her wings.  After using the Labels Fourteen (#4) Spellbinders die to cut out the image, a little Spun Sugar Distress Ink was added to the outside edge.  I used lace to make the rolled flower as well as one of my layers.

In addition to the design team call, I am entering this card into the following challenges: Mark's Finest Papers (add lace); Creative Inspirations paints ( lots of layers); and StampyLand Challenge (square card).

Good luck to all who submit their projects to the design team call.

Ingredients: Copics used: E13, E15, E17    E04, R20    BG13, BG15, BG18, R0000, R000, R01    E43    N4, N5, N6    E99, E27
papers: PDQ; Tim Holtz Idea-ology (Lost and Found)
other: pearls from stash

Beautiful card, Anne! Totally love your coloring and shading on the heart fairy. Just an FYI that you linked the Snail Mail card to the PMS Digi DT call instead of this one - I'm glad I kept looking and found your pretty fairy girl card. :) Best wishes with the DT call!
