Twenties Christmas

It's time for a new challenge at Stamping with the Dragon.  The sponsor is Stamping Dragon Designs and the theme is to MAKE A CHRISTMAS CARD WITH THE COLORS RED, GREEN AND WHITE.  I've chosen the Twenties Christmas image as she looks so elegant.  The patterned paper is from Making Memories and the green and gold are mirrored papers.

Copic markers were used to shade her outfit in vibrant red, Diamond Dust was used for the collar, and Creative Inspirations paints (Winter Frost, Mellow Yellow) was added to the hat band, her purse and the outlining circle.  I want to thank Kate from our team for the idea of border punching the edges of the card.  I used the Creative Memories Border Making System (scallop) to punch out the top and bottom.  Here is a closer view of the image and a better look at the Diamond Dust.  I think it gives it the look of something fuzzy and warm on her collar.

You have two weeks (until August 18) to get your red, green, and white Christmas card uploaded to Stamping with the Dragon.  While you're there, be sure to check out the other DT members Christmas creations - lots of great ideas.  The winner of this challenge will get to choose six images from the new Stamping Dragon Designs' Christmas release. There is also a special challenge/celebration going on at Janette's blog (Stamping Dragon Designs and Rupert's creator).  Head on over to find out the details and what you can win.

Copics used: YR31, YR23   E000, E00, E01, R20    R24, R27, R29, R89    E33, E99, E39    R000, B00    G03, G05, G09, G29

Really beautiful, Anne. Love the way you've colored the dress and hat, and the lacy background behind the Noel is fantastic! I'll have to go check out the challenge. It's not one I've played before.
