Youth Football

It's time for the Inspiration challenge at Dude Time Doodles.

The twist to this month's Inspiration challenge is to make it sporty in honor of the NFL lockout finally being over and college football starting.  I decided the Youth Football image would be a perfect choice for the sporty theme.  For this challenge, not only did I use the inspiration board as a guide, I also incorporated a few ideas from a few of my fellow DTD Dudettes.  The altered gate fold is inspired by one of the cards Dawn made a little while back; the shoelace idea came from Michelle; and the clouds are from Cleota (although she did a much better job).  I get inspired by all the Dudettes, I just incorporated these three here.

Here's what the card looks like when it's opened slightly.  You can see some of the new Authentique paper peeking through from the inside.

You have one week to show us your inspired sporty project and link it up at the Dude Time Doodles Challenge Blog.  The rules are pretty straightforward:  it must be for a DUDE.  We would also love it if you used a DTD image, but you don't have to.  Be sure to see what the other Dudettes have cooked up for you too.

Just a quick reminder to mark your calendars for Aug 24 and the Scavenger Crawl.  Dude Time Doodles will be celebrating it's first anniversary and there will be lots of prizes.  You don't want to miss this shin-dig!
