Finn's Scarf

Finn's Scarf is one of the new reveals from Sparkle N Sprinkle this month.  Instead of a normal card, I decided to create a little wall hanging to celebrate winter.

I used the digi version and printed him out twice.  I fussy cut out the entire image form the first one and the scarf from the second one and colored everything with Copic markers,  I also added a little Lavender Iris glitter to the bottom of the scarf and pop dotted the ruffles up from the rest of the card after adhering it to the main image.  The sentiment, which is part of the set, was manipulated to all be in a single line and was printed on colored vellum.

I found the igloo from some free clip art and added a bit of bling to the snow with Diamond Dust glitter.  The large snowflakes are vellum embellishments that I've had for quite a while.  To spruce them up, I added accent marks with a VersaMarker, covered the embossing ink with Silver Lightning embossing powder and heat set it.  I also added VersaMarker to each individual snowflake in the patterned paper and heat set more Silver Lightning embossing powder.

This us a sweet wintery creation. Love your combination of purple colors, it's my favorite, and the DP you've used for the ground looks so much like ice!

Fantastic, Anne! Love the sparkle and the dimension. Wonderful coloring on the scarf. I'm slowly returning to the land of the living but am still visiting blogs only in short spurts. I hope to be back soon to see all you've done while I've been sick. :-D
