Coffee Time

Sparkle N Sprinkle debuted seven new stamp sets this month, most of them coffee themed.  This is the Coffee Time stamp set and I decided to use the digi version (DIGI694).

When I saw the set, it was calling out to be paper pieced.  So, after printing the image several times and quite a bit of fussy cutting, my table and chairs were all set.  The chair backs and legs were covered with Princess Anna Fuchsia glitter, as was the frame (which is a Memory Box die - Victorian Frame) for the sentiment.  The frame is darker than the chairs because I incorporated the Coloring on Glitter technique using a black Copic marker over the Princess Anna Fuchsia glitter.  Glossy Accents was added to the fussy cut coffee cups and Bubble Gum glitter was sprinkled in the wet adhesive. Once the Glossy Accents dried, the cups had a sparkly looking glaze.

The backdrop for the table setting was dry embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder (Bricked). Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) was used to ink up the embossing folder before it was run through my machine so that the debossed areas would already have color to them.
