Stella - Call Me Witch

Stella - Call Me Witch is one of the new Halloween stamp sets released this month form Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I used the digi version for both the image and the sentiment.  After coloring the image with Copic markers, I added Blue Raven glitter to her buckles on the hat as well as her shoes and to her cape.  Glossy Accents was added to the eye glasses.

I die cut the image using a Spellbinders die (Timeless Rectangles).  Then I proceeded to cut off the outside edges of the die cut using my deckle edge cutter.  It's important that you cut the top piece off first and then the other three sides.  Otherwise you won't get all the details.  Once all four sides were cut off, I added the top piece back on (like a puzzle piece) and adhered it from the back.  I wanted to use this piece as it reminded me of a bat.  I then used some Brushable Glue on this top piece and covered it with Eggplant glitter.

I outlined the sentiment, which comes with the set, with Dimensional Glue and added more Eggplant glitter to the edges.  The bats are from an older Spellbinders die (Nesting Bats) and Blue Raven glitter was added to both of these for more sparkle.

As a finishing touch, I added a bow in Halloween colors and I tried something new on it.  I took a Sakura Glue pen and ran it down the center purple stripe on the ribbon and covered it with more Eggplant glitter.  I wasn't sure if it would adhere to the ribbon, but I'm happy to report that it did.  Happy discovery :-).

Fun Halloween card Anne. Love the addition of the Eggplant glitter. The distressed papers are fun and all your sparkly little bats. The top of the image does look like an enormous bat!
