Gone Fishing

Today's card features the new Gone Fishing stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I used the digi version so that my silhouette is quite a bit larger.  Copics were used to created the sky and various glitters were added to give the sky highlights.  Starting from the top and working my way down, I added Hyacinth, Fairy Tale Lavender, Pink Jewels, Flaming Orange, Daisy,  and Hanauma Bay.

The frame around the silhouette was a Spellbinders die (Labels Twenty-Eight) and I covered it with Dark Night embossing powder.  This is such a cool color as it looks different depending on which way you hold it in the light.

I also pop dotted each of my layers, with the focal point being adhered directly to the card base, then the Dark Night frame a little higher, and ending with the white mat being the highest, giving it almost a tunnel effect.

I "painted" the first black mat with Nuvo Crystal Drops (Ebony Black gloss) for a shiny effect and I also added some Nuvo Glitter Drops (Purple Rain) to the sides.

So even though this is a masculine card, it still has lots of shimmer and shine.  Don't let anyone tell you you can't you glitter on a guy card :-).
