Read with Dandelia {Fairy Stampers}

Hey everyone, today it is my turn to share a project with the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook groupFor today's project I used the following Fairy Hugs products and you can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

For this fun bookmark, I die cut the preprinted cardstock using a Taylored Expressions die (Banner Stacklets 2) and then stamped Dandelia in the center. I used one of the smaller nesting dies, outlined it with a glue pen, and then added Artic giltter to highlight the shape.

The sentiment is an old Die-Versions font die set called Marker Micro. I love all those font dies that they sold. You can still find them arond every now and then.

The ribbon for the bookmark was accented with two small tassels that were created using the Concord & 9th tassel die from the Everyday Purse Buillder die set. Touches of glitter were also added to the edges.

Gel pens were used to add color and accents to the stamped image.

We'd love for you to join us in the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group for lots of amazing inspiration from both the Design Team as well as the amazing projects shared by our members. Once you're there,  join in on the Fairy Stamper challenge every other Thursady for a chance to win a $15 gift code to Fairy Stamper.

The die cut used for this easel card is by Poppy Stamps (Adriana Pop-Up Easel set) and the sentiment tag was created using a Tutti Designs die (Dotted Nesting Rectangles).

Ginko and Kenzie and the Giant Mushrooms {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, it's Sunday, so it's my turn to share a project with the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and I've created this night time scene using these Fairy Hugs stamps: Ginko and Kenzie (FSH-099) and Dancing Mushrooms (FSH-017). Fairy Hugs Glitter (Lapis) was used around the frame edges. You can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

Ginko and Kenzie
Dancing Mushrooms
Fairy Hugs Glitter - Lapis

To start out, I used Distress Inks and Oxides to create the blue background on my white piece of cardstock. Then I stamped the Dancing Mushrooms and heat set with a yellow embossing powder. I added accents to the mushrooms with paint pens.

Ginko and Kenzie wer stamped onto some white cardstock and then fussy cut out. I wanted them to be flying throught the huge field of giant mushrooms. Colored pens and Spectrum Noir sparkle markers give them added color.

The frame is a die cut by Crafters Companion. I added a thin (1/8") strip of double sided tape around the edges and added Lapis glitter for a bit of sparkle.

Starla {Fairy Stamper #2}

It's time for the Fairy Stamper Challenge #2. The challenge is held in the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and the theme is something magical.

For today's project, I created this fun fold card that stands upright but folds flat for mailing. I used the Fairy Hugs stamp Starla and she can be found at Fairy Stamper.

Here's a side view:

As you can see from this view, she is actually floating in mide air. To achieve this look, I cut a small strip of clear acetate and attached it underneath the fold and behind her.  This will also move to allow for flat mailing.

I stamped Starla and then fussy cut her out. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle marker to her wings and a touch of Fairy Hugs Pixie Dust glitter.

We'd love it if you come join the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and join in on the challenge there. The winner will receive a $15 gift code to Fairy Stamper.

Musical Gnomes {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, happy Monday! I have a fun slimline card for Fairy Stamper today.  My card uses the following products, all of which can be found at Fairy Stamper.

Tutti Designs: Slimline Stitched Scalloped Rectangles

This was a fun card to create. After die cutting the scalloped rectangle layers from white card stock, I used Distress Inks to add shades of pink to the focal panel and added Bumblebee glitter to the edges of the card base.

The Musical Walkway was stamped multiple times across the focal panel and the music loving gnomes are busy playing their tunes in the front as the music notes floats all around.  Tiny pompoms were added to their hats and Nuvo Cyrstal Drops were added to their shoes.

Gnome Mansion {Fairy Stamper}

It's the first day of February and Monday, so that means it's time for a new Fairy Stamper project. Today I'm sharing a project featuring one of the New Release stamps from Fairy Hugs.  They made their debut on Hochanda TV this past week on Jan 27 in five different shows.  You can watch these shows for the next 60 days.  You can see this project featured on the shows as well.

I used the new Gnome Mansion and Slender Fir set stamps by Fairy Hugs.  Those tiny little gnomes come with the Gnome Mansion set and are as cute as can be! I also used a part of one of the Fairy Hugs Backgrounds papers (Full Moon).

I love the Background papers, but for this project, I wanted the moon to be bright and shiny. So, using a circle die, I cut out the original more muted moon on the paper and then created my moon using Distress Inks and Distress Oxides on white card stock.

I then stamped the images using Versafine Clair inks onto my moon. I added color to the mansion using gel pens.  I then added dimensional foam tape to the back of the Backgrounds paper and adhered it on top of my focal point.  Using a fine tip glue pen, I added glue around the moon and sprinkled Fairy Hugs Sunshine glitter around the edge. This also helped to brighten up the project.

Using a Tonic Studios die set (Green Temple layering die set), I dry embossed four of the nesting dies onto my card base. Then I centered my focal point and adhered it as well.

Love You {DRU Inspiration}

It's my turn to share on the DRU Inspiration Blog today and since Valentine's is right around the corner, I created a Valentine's project. 💘

I used the following products:

Tutti Designs: Cross Stitch Hearts
Tutti Designs: Dotted Nesting Rectangles
Neat & Tangled: Love You (any of these word dies would work)
Penny Black: Lovely Border (these would also work)
Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder: Bumblebee

This is a pretty quick and easy card to create and I bet you already have most of these types of dies in your stash. To start out, I die cut some Tonic Studios specialty paper with the largest heart from the Cross Stitch Hearts die set.

Next, the sentiment was die cut and adhered onto the heart.

I then die cut the Penny Black die from red cardstock and laid the heart on top.  I had decided not to separate the frames of the Penny Black die set, but you could.  I happen to like the way it cuts with all the frames nested together (plus I knew I could never get all of them perfectly spaced if I cut them apart 😂).

I felt it was missing something, so I die cut a frame from the Dotted Nesting Rectangles and added Fairy Hugs Glitter powder to the frame in a bright yellow. This gave it the pop of an additional color and a lot of sparkle.

Everything was then adhered to a white card base and is ready to be mailed when the time comes. 😁

Here is one final look at today's project:

Let the Music Play {Fairy Stamper}

Today I'm sharing a new project created for Fairy Stamper using Fairy Hugs stamps, Fairy Hugs Glitter Powders, and several dies.

I also used a Sue Wilson Designs die set (Noble dies - Double Pierced Rectangles, Set B) and the Queen & Co. die set (Suitcase Gift Card Box).

I stamped both Wilwin and Corwin (the gnome playing the sax) and then fussy cut them out. Once that step was completed, I carefully added Raven glitter to both, trying to make sure the defining accent lines were still able to be seen.

Next I die cut my mats using the Sue Wilson die set and I added Raven glitter to the second one for more sparkle.

For the suitcase, I decided to keep it flat instead of creating a box. This made it easier to mail. The accent pieces of the suitcase were covered in Pixie Dust glitter for even more bling. A gem at the closing piece of the suitcase adds the final touch.

Let It Snow {Lavinia World #44}

A new Lavinia World Challenges #44 begins today. The winner will receive a $15 gift code to Lavinia World  and the theme is always use any stamped image (but no digis).

For today's snowy card, I used the following products:

Lavinia stamps: Fir Tree

I also used Nuvo Crystal Drops (Violet Galaxy, Rhubarb Crumble, Dandelion Yellow) for the ornaments in the tree and my die cut sentiment is by Tonic Studios (Let It Snow).

I had seen quite a few of this general design over the Christmas holidays and I wanted to give it a try too. To start out, I die cut the white cardstock and  blue matting using the Tutti Designs slimline die.

I then tore a piece of scrap paper to create a few snow drifts using Distress Oxide and a blending brush. I used a light touch for the snow drifts as I didn't want them to overpower the rest of the scene.

Once I was happy with the snow drifts, I stamped the Fir Tree using the Rain Forest ink pad.  After stamping, I added clear embossing powder and heat set it.

Next came time to place the bunnies. I used the backing sheets that come with the stamps to get a general idea where I wanted them. Since I wasn't using a stamp positioner for the bunnies, I reached for the Fairy Hugs Raven ink.  I almost always get a nice clear, dark impression on the first go around when using this ink pad.

I randomly stamped my falling snow using each of the stamps in the set and then added a dot of Pixie Dust glitter to the center of each snowflake. The Nuvo Drops were added next and then I set aside the project to dry while I die cut my sentiment out of two different colors of blue cardstock.  I offset the two layers to give the top layer a bit of a shadow.

Once everything was dry, I adhered the sentiment to the focal panel and then adhered everything to my white card stock base.

Now it's your turn and I hope you'll join us.  You can either upload your newly created project to the Challenge Blog or you can join our Anything Lavinia Facebook group and upload your project there.

Christmas {DRU Inspiration}

  (This is my second post for today. Please scroll down to see my Lavinia World project.)

Hey everyone!  Can you believe Christmas is next week!!! I'm not quite ready, so I'm rushing around getting all my last minute things together (like one more Christmas card 😆).

For this project, I used the following products:

Lawn Fawn: Shadow Box Card Fireplace Add-On (these would also work)
Spellbinders: Christmas Tree (any of these would work well)
Memory Box: Special Merry Christmas (many of these would work well)
Fairy Hugs: Stone Wall
Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder: Shamrock
Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder: Sunshine

Unfortunately, all of the specific dies I used for this card are now out of stock due to their popularity; however, I've linked many other options that would work as well.  I would suggest signing up for the newsletter and purchase the dies you like as soon as you see them available.

To start off, I die cut every thing out of white cardstock and then proceeded to color the individual die cuts with either Distress Inks, Altenew inks, or Copic markers.

My card is a standard A2 size, so the front panel is 4" x 5.25".  I ran this through a Crafters Companion embossing folder (Stone Wall) to give a light amount of texture to the background.  Although it doesn't show up very well in the photo, you can see it quite well in person.

Then I began coloring and assembling the individual pieces and adhered them to the front panel.

For the fireplace itself, I stamped the Fairy Hugs Stone Wall onto the die cut to give it the looks of stones.  I added dimensional strips behind the fireplace surround and mantel for added dimension.

I added Fairy Hugs Sunshine glitter powder to the star on the Christmas Tree die cut and added Nuvo Glitter Drops (Ruby Slipper) for my ornaments.

After die cutting the Merry Christmas sentiment, I added Fairy Hugs Shamrock glitter for added sparkle.

Here's one final look at today's project:
