Little Red Dress

I was commissioned to create a card celebrating this special moment in a girl's life.  I decided to use this Dreaming Tree SVG (Darling Dress Greeting Card) for the card and I had so much fun creating this!  I used all specialty papers (all from Tonic Studios) and I have to say, it looked amazing in person.  The papers were red glitter cardstock, red brushed mirrored cardstock, embossed silver cardstock, matte mirrored silver cardstock, and vellum.

I printed the information onto vellum and adhered it to the inside of the card. Instead of using bullet points for each line, I used a font that created mini hearts.

Since I had never used this file before, I wanted to make sure I knew all the ins and outs before using my specialty papers (especially since I only had one of each!).  This was my first card and I love how it turned out too.

I will definitely be using this cut file again in the future 😊.

Until next time.....

Fall Bushel Basket {Lavinia World #13}

Can you believe it's already November? It's also time for the bi-weekly Lavinia World Challenges to begin.  Lavinia World is a US retailer that carries the full line of Lavinia stamps and papers.  They have also added some amazing supplies and dies that coordinate beautifully with this line.

I used the following stamps for my 3-D project today:

For today's project, I created a 3-D bushel basket from an SVG file by Dreaming Tree (bushel basket) and cut out the pieces of cardstock using my Scan N Cut.  Before assembling the basket, I used my stamp positioner and stamped the Fir Tree equidistant around the perimeter.  Then I used an acrylic block to randomly stamp the Mini Leaf 1 Miniature all around in various ink colors.  All the inks used were by VersaFine Clair (Golden Meadow, Glamorous,  Green Oasis, Summertime).

I then assembled the basket according to the instructions and added a lighter green glitter to the trees using a glue pen.  The final touch was to add some candy for the recipient of my fall basket 😀.

Happy Halloween

It's Halloween in the US and that mean lots and lots of kids in great costumes receiving tons and tons of candy 😄.

I created some treat boxes using various SVG files,  The Jolly Jack Treat box and the Fall Bushel Basket are from Dreaming Tree and the Black Cat Treat Box is from Simply Crafty SVGs.

These were so fun to make!  I know I'll be making more soon 😀.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!!
