Fairy Pumpkin House {Lavinia World #12}

Hey everyone,  Lavinia World Challenges #12 begins today.  The theme is anything goes using a stamped image (rubber or clear, but no digis).  Lavinia stamps are always welcome 😀.  The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World.

Today's card shows some fairies tidying up their pumpkin house.  I've combined several Lavinia stamps and dies to create my scene.

I've used the following Lavinia stamps:

Three Dancing Fairies
Snail-Miniature

I stamped a bunch of  the Three Dancing Fairies in various colors of VersaFine Claire and cut them out using my Scan N Cut machine. (I think I made close to 50 - so quick and easy!!).  I did the same thing for the Snail - Miniature, but used VersaFine Claire Nocturne for these and didn't stamp as many.  Now I have a bunch of both of these for future cards 😁.

The pumpkin house is a die cut from Tutti Designs (Pumpkin Fairy House) and is also carried at Lavinia World.  I used white cardstock to die cut the pumpkin house and colored it with Copic markers.  (I love how one of the fairies is riding the snail.)

The stars are a Spellbinders die (Tim Holtz Swirling Stars) and the maple leaf frame is another Tutti Designs die (Maple Vine Frame).  The card base and outer die cut frame are both by Tonic Studios (Ornate Frame Layering die set).  A few Nuvo sequins give this fall project a finishing touch.

Chibi VIP Scorpio {Scrapper's Delights}

Hey everyone, it's the first Friday of the month and that means it's time for the Chibi New Release from Scrapper's Delights.

I'm sharing the Scorpio Zodiac from the Chibi VIP Deal Bundle.  You can only get this image, along with tons of other elements, if you purchase this Zodiac Bundle.  You also get the Chibi New Release images as well!

I used quite a few of the elements that are included with the VIP Zodiac Bundle to create this card. I also added digi paper for the background and changed the texture of the paper a bit.

Once the image was printed, I colored the image with Copic markers.  I added sparkle to her hair and the word "Scorpio" using Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers (Pink Quartz, Moonlight).

I postioned the completed image onto my patterned cards base, added a couple strips of fun ribbon, and adhered tons of Tonic Studios Nuvo Sequins to both the image and the card base. (Guess I got carried away a little 😂.)

I'll be sharing the Anime New Release from Scrapper's Delights on the last Friday of the month (Oct 25).  Here's a sneak peek of the new images :

Tennis Tess

Happy Friday everyone!  It's time for the Anime New Release from Scrapper's Delights!  Here are the three new Anime images for this month "Don't Forget, Cheerleader Stacey, and Tennis Tess":

The best deal is the Anime VIP Deal Zodiac Bundle. In the  where you receive all three images plus the Anime VIP - Virgo image and lots of design elements to go along with the image.  (Since this is my star sign, I'm especially partial to it 😀.)

For my project today, I used Tennis Tess.  I created the background using digi papers and used both the image and the sentiment that comes in this file.  (You also get an image that automatically has this sentiment with it, but the placement wasn't quite right for what I had in mind.  So you get lots of options to choose from.)

I colored the image with Copic markers and added Wink of Stella to her blouse.  I love the soft sparkly look it gives this.  I also went over the printed sentiment with a silver metallic pen for more emphasis.

The backing papers are all from Tonic Studios as is the die that I used in the corner of the gold paper.

Anime Graffiti Jill

Happy Friday everyone!  It's time for the Anime New Release from Scrapper's Delights!  There are three new images plus two great background "Wall" options to choose from.

As always though, the best deal by far is when you purchase the Zodiac Bundle VIP Deal!  You get all of the new releases and you receive an exclusive zodiac image that you can only with this VIP Deal.  Plus tons of design elements to enhance your projects.

For my project today, I used Anime Graffiti Jill and the Wall 2 option (from the Zodiac bundle).  I colored the image with Copic markers and added some glitter to her pants.

The die cut embellishment (Memory Box-Savanah Border) was also enhanced with the same purple glitter as the pants.  A few Nuvo Sequins are the finishing touch.

Here is a Sneak Peek at the upcoming Chibi New Release on August 2.

I'll be back with something I created using the Zodiac VIP Deal - Virgo.  (She's adorable - not that I'm biased or anything, being a Virgo myself 😁.)

Anime Bill and Jill

Welcome to the monthly Scrapper's Delights Anime New Release for June!  This month we are having it a week early to coincide with our Sponsor Spotlight featured on Passionate Paper Creations (on Facebook).

There are five new images, plus the Cancer VIP Deal image.  The Zodiac VIP Deal is the best deal because not only do you get all five of the new Anime images, you also get the VIP image and lots of other elements (31 to be exact) that go with it.

For today's project, I combined three of the five new images: Anime Jill, Anime Bill, and the School Lockers.  The images are colored with Copic markers and then added behind a frame (as if this photo was in a year book).

The negative portion of a Sue Wilson die cut (Noble dies-Ornate Pierced Rectangles) was used to create the frame.  The stitched circle die cut is from Simon Says Stamp and was die cut from some Tonic Studios Craft Perfect embossed papers.  The sentiment is a die cut from Tonic Studios and was die cut from white cardstock and then color was added using the direct-to-paper method and Versafine Clair ink (Paradise).  I then heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder.  A few Nuvo Sequins (Rose Gold) were added as a finishing touch.

Here is a Sneak Peek for the upcoming Chibi New Release on July 5:

Bunny N Bear

I have a sweet card to share with you featuring The Stamp Doctor dies.  I used the Bear/Bunny Paper Piecing Dies Combo set.  This includes the Bear (main die), the Bunny Add-On, and the Bear/Bunny Bow Dies.  You can get these individually or as a combo and I highly recommend the combo.  You could also rearrange the bunny ears and make him look like a puppy dog.  As you can see, this is a pretty versatile set!  Lovely Lattice Dies were also used to complete my card.

For the bunny, I die cut patterned paper and added flock to his ears and nose and glitter to his toes and hearts on his feet.  The snout is pop dotted and so are the tops of his big feet.  The set comes with feet (see the bear), but I thought the large part of his ears looked like big floppy feet, so that's what I went with and just added the toes.

While I was die-cutting, I noticed that the negative space between the large floppy ears looked like a carrot, so I cut it off to include some greenery and colored it with Copic markers.  I added a small slit in one of his paws and slid the carrot through.  I fussy cut some big buck teeth so he could eat his carrot! 😁

The bear was die cut using double sided adhesive that was backed with white cardstock.  Once I had all the pieces, I began to add different colors of flock to each piece.  I added glitter to his toes, his bow, and the hearts.  His snout and feet are also pop dotted for added dimension.  He's so soft and fuzzy, just like a real teddy bear!

The lattice and double Hello (shadow and main word) come from the Lovely Lattice Dies set.  I die cut the lattice twice to add behind each of my images and added Copic markers to the main part of "Hello" to give it an ombre look.  I added a few sequins and a double bow to finish off my card.

Until next time 😀.......

I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

Easter Card in a Box

I have a fun Easter project to share with you today.  All the dies are from The Stamp Doctor and this was so fun to create.

I used the following dies for this project:

~ Card In A Box #2 die set (follow the assembly directions that are included in the dies)
Egg Carton CIB (card in a box) Add-On
~ Large Chocolate Bunny dies

After putting together the Card In A Box #2 using Tonic Studios Craft Perfect Patterned papers, I set about getting all my Easter eggs ready.

Sometime back, I published a post outlining where I experimented with photo paper and Nuvo Shimmer Powders and I made a bunch of samples.  I wanted the Easter eggs to be on the glossy side, but not too glossy. I had several pieces from my experiment that would be perfect for colored Easter eggs.

I die cut quite a few eggs, grass edges, and flowers, all from Egg Carton CIB Add-On set.  The grass was die cut from white scraps of cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The flowers were die cut from patterned scraps. (Love being able to use smaller scraps up.)

The Large Chocolate Bunny was die cut from a piece of double sided adhesive adhered to a scrap of white cardstock.  After exposing the adhesive on the front of the bunny, I covered him with Dark Chocolate Flock.  Then I added Nuvo Crystal Drops (Buttermilk, Sweet Lilac) for his eye. A few Nuvo sequins and glitter around the front panel (Tonic Studios Pure Sheen Glitter - Turquoise) add the finishing touches.

Here are what the side panels look like:

I love using the Card In A Box #2 die set because it's so versatile and can be used for any theme.  I envision using it for lots more projects in the future 😀.

Geisha Girl

Today's project uses the Geisha die and is embellished with some negative pieces left over from one of my Fan die projects. Both of these dies are from Cheapo Dies.

I began by die cutting the Geisha from white cardstock and then applying VersaMark over the entire die cut and heat embossing it with Gilded Ivory embossing powder.

The crane was given a bit of color from Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Indian Gold).  Nuvo Sequins (Vanilla Delight) were added here and there for added eye candy 😀.

The sentiment was given a bit of extra bling by coloring the letters with a Spica glitter pen (Lavender).
