Estrella's Fairy Gate {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, today it is my turn to share a project with the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook groupFor today's project I used the following Fairy Hugs products and you can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

To start off, I stamped and heat embossed the Fairy Gate first so that I could then center everything else around this. Next came the Wooden Walkway, which I colored in with colored pencils, and then Estrella. I used gel pens to add color to her wings. Finally I began randomly stamping the Whimsical Flower Cluster to cover the rest of the white cardstock and then filled in with some grass.

We'd love for you to join us in the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group for lots of amazing inspiration from both the Design Team as well as the amazing projects shared by our members. Ginko and Kenzie and the Giant Mushrooms {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, it's Sunday, so it's my turn to share a project with the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and I've created this night time scene using these Fairy Hugs stamps: Ginko and Kenzie (FSH-099) and Dancing Mushrooms (FSH-017). Fairy Hugs Glitter (Lapis) was used around the frame edges. You can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

Ginko and Kenzie
Dancing Mushrooms
Fairy Hugs Glitter - Lapis

To start out, I used Distress Inks and Oxides to create the blue background on my white piece of cardstock. Then I stamped the Dancing Mushrooms and heat set with a yellow embossing powder. I added accents to the mushrooms with paint pens.

Ginko and Kenzie wer stamped onto some white cardstock and then fussy cut out. I wanted them to be flying throught the huge field of giant mushrooms. Colored pens and Spectrum Noir sparkle markers give them added color.

The frame is a die cut by Crafters Companion. I added a thin (1/8") strip of double sided tape around the edges and added Lapis glitter for a bit of sparkle.

We'd love for you to join us in the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group for lots of amazing inspiration from both the Design Team as well as the amazing projects shared by our members. Birthday Wishes {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, today it is my turn to share a project with the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and I've created this fun birthday slimline card.

For today's project I used the following Fairy Hugs stamps. You can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

For this cute birthday card, I started out by diecutting the background with Tutti Designs Slimeline dies (Slimline Cross Stitched Rectangles and Slimline Stitched Wobby Frame).  The sentiment is a die cut from My Favorite Things (birthday wishes).

The birthday package is a die from Neat & Tangled that creates a 3D die cut.  I stamped Moana on one side and used the small butterfly from the Sivelle stamp set for the other side. Distress Inks and Oxides were added to the flaps of the birthday box.  All the images were given color using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers.

For the tissue paper coming out of the box, I used the Fairy Hugs stencil (Galaxy).  I cut out a piece of plain tissue paper slightly larger than the stencil and then I sponged Versafine Clair (Cheerful) through the stencil openings. This was then heat set with Clear embossing powder. I then folded it up and adhered it to the inside of my 3D box.  The added tissue paper really makes the whole card pop.

Let the Music Play {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, we've switched things up a bit on the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group and the Design Team will now begin posting weekly.  My scheduled day to post will be Sundays, but I'm sure I'll be adding other projects during the weeks as well :-).  We will continue to have the Fairy Stamper Challenge bi-weekly on Thursdays. These are also held in our Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group, so be sure to join us!

For today's project I used the following Fairy Hugs stamps. You can find all of these at Fairy Stamper

I started this streamline card out by using Distress Oxides and one stencil for the sun rays and a different one for the clouds.

Next I stamped the Wishing Well and the Stone Wall. I think the Stone Wall is such a versatile stamp and can be used in so many different types of scenes. It is also cut in such a way, that you can seamlessly continue the wall and have it as long as you want it. Colored pencils were used to give a bit of color to the stones on both the walls and the wishing well.

I stamped and heat embossed Azalea, Corwin, and Wilwin on a piece of white card stock. Then I fussy cut them out. Bilmin I stamped directly onto the top of the Wishing Well and also heat embossed him.

I colored Azalea's wings with Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers for lots of sparkle and as a finishing touch, I added a few star shaped sequins.

We'd love for you to join us in the Fairy Stamper Hugs Facebook group for lots of amazing inspiration from both the Design Team as well as the amazing projects shared by our members. Toadstool House {Fairy Stamper}

 ðŸŽ‰ Happy New Year! 🎉

Today's project for Fairy Stamper was designed for a friend to let her know I'm thinking about her as she goes though some health issues.

The following stamps, all of which can be found at Fairy Stamper, were used for my project:

Fairy Hugs: Toadstool House
Fairy Hugs: Mini Dancing Mushrooms
Fairy Hugs: Condo Dwellers
Lavinia: Fairy Fir Tree 2

As usual, I began with a piece of white cardstock and started adding my images.  The Toadstool House was stamped first in a brown hybrid ink from Tonic Studios.  I stamped it a second time on a piece of scratch paper to create a mask.

Once the mask was fussy cut out and temporarily adhered to the original stamped image, I began to add my fir trees using two different colors of green ink.  I kept stamping until I was happy with my little house in the woods.

Keeping the mask in place, I then began to stamp the Mini Dancing Mushrooms is Versafine Clair (Chianti).  I then removed the mask and added three of the Condo Dwellers.

Next I began adding color using colored pencils and gel pens. For sparkle, I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers to different areas of the focal panel.

I ran a strip of the purple cardstock through a Sue Wilson Designs embossing folder (Rambling Blossoms) and gave it a bit more dimension using some Distress Ink over the debossed side.  The die cut sentiment is by Tonic Studios.

Luna's Pod {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone, it's Monday so that means it's time to share a new Fairy Stamper project with you. For today's under the sea project I used the following stamps:

Fairy Hugs: Luna
Fairy Hugs: Oscar
Fairy Hugs: Net
Lavinia: Mushroom Lantern set
Lavinia: Fairy Buttercups
Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder: Pearl

I used Distress Oxides to create the background and also added Specrum Noir Sparkle marker to give the water a shimmer effect. Then I began stamping the background stamps.  I stamped Luna multiple times in both black and a grey and fussy cut each one out for easy layering.

I added glitter to the mushroom lanterns and the buttercups and highlighted Oscar's tentacles with a white gel pen.

Christmas Wreath Ornament {DRU Insp}

Today I'd like to share a fun and easy Christmas project I created for the Dies R Us Inspiration team.  The following dies were used to create this sweet ornament:

I started out by die cutting several branches from green cardstock and several pine cones from brown cardstock.

Using two of the circle dies, I die cut my wreath from a tan/brown piece of cardstock.

After all the dies cutting was complete, I added a bit of sparkle to the leaves and cones using a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker. This Wink of Stella will also work perfectly to add a touch of sparkle to your project.

I fiddled around with the placement of my die cuts and once I was happy, I adhered everything down. The final touch was to add a decorative string to hang my wreath from the tree with. Here's one final look at the completed project:

Head back to the Dies R Us Blog tomorrow for more fabulous inspiration from the DRU Inspiration design team.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Sky's Sweet Music {Lavinia World Challenges #30}

A new Lavinia World Challenges begins today.  The theme is Anything Goes using a stamped image.

For my project, I created this sweet scene using the following products, all of which can be found at Lavinia World:

Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder (Golden Nugget, Iris)
We Are 3 Digital Paper (Watercolor Batik)

I began this slimline card by stamping the Fairy Lantern stamp three times using various colors of ink cubes. Then I began to add color to the (originally) white cardstock using Pan Pastels. I created a few hills using a torn piece of paper and then continued the rest of the background using purples and blues.

I added a bit of bling to the lanterns using Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers and gems from Queen and Co.

I wanted to show the inside of Sky's wings as well as the outside.  In order to achieve this look, I stamped her twice onto a scrap of white cardstock and fussy cut her out.  On the second one, I only fussy cut out the wings, as that's all I needed.

Next I added glue and Golden Nugget Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder to the "inside" portion of her wings and Iris Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder to other set of wings that I fussy cut out.  (I 💖LOVE💖 this new glitter!) I let both sets of wings dry completely before going to the next step.

While the glue was drying, I decided I didn't like the stark contrast of the white edges that were left from the very fine details of the image.  So I added a bit of grey Pan Pastel so that Sky would blend in better with the evening scene I was trying to create.

Once the glue was dry on the wings, I added a pop dot at the base of the "outside" wing and adhered it over (and slightly offset) from the main image. Now you can see her two-toned wings 😀.

I also wanted her to have a bit of dimension.  When adhering her to the background, I added a small pop dot to the back of her head and to the back of the bird. I think this small detail really makes it look as if she's sitting among the Fairy lanterns and not just posed in front of them.

The focal piece was adhered to the newly added digital papers that Lavinia World is now carrying from We Are 3.  I used one of the Watercolor Batik papers because it coordinated with my purples perfectly. I love the fact that you can re-size the papers to whatever size you wish and the designs and colors are amazing.

The final step was to adhere this to the purple card base. I decided it needed a little something more, so I added dimensional foam tape to the back of focal area as well.  That final step gave the card the look I was going for.  I hope you like it too.

Mooch's Fairy {Lavinia World #27}

Hey everyone, welcome to a new Lavinia World Challenges! The theme is anything goes using a stamped image.  The winner of each challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World.  We'd love to have you play along for a chance to win.

The following Lavinia stamps were used to create today's project:

To create the background for today's project, I started out with white cardstock and blended several colors of Distress Oxides together.  Once I was satisfied with the way that looked, I stamped the Background Script using VersaMark ink.  I then brushed on some Perfect Pearls (Blush) on top of the ink.  The Perfect Pearls gives the background a very subtle, shimmery look when held in the right light. The photo below shows you how subtle the Background Script stamped image is on this piece.

I began building my scene by stamping the Stones at the bottom of the cardstock with VersaFine Clair ink (Morning Mist).  Next I placed Mooch on top of the stones.  (He was stamped with VersaFine Clair (Twilight). )  Fairy Buttercups were added to either side of Mooch with Distress Oxide ink).  Finally, the Dragonfly Keeper was stamped with more VersaFine Clair ink (Fantasia).

I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker to the lantern and framed my scene using a Poppy Stamp die (Stitchwork Rectangle Frames).  This was die cut from white cardstock and then I used the direct to paper method to add more Fantasia ink to the frame.

Now it's your turn to join us.  You can either upload your current project to the Challenge Blog or you can join our Anything Lavinia Facebook group and upload your project there.
