Anime Painter {Stampers Delights}

closed

open
Hey everyone, today I'd like to share my Stampers Delights April Anime New Release with you, Anime Painter.

I had lots of fun creating this easel card.  I started out by designing the digi papers and added elements in my Word software. Although the card front looks like it's three layers, it's actually only one.  The image itself was left black and white so I could color it with my Copic markers after printing it out. I added the splat element from the digi set multiple times on her apron, resizing each one.

I printed out coordinating patterned paper to create the easel card and I also combined the splat image three times to create the "stand" for the easel to rest on when opened.  After printing the splats, I fussy cut them out and colored them with Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers.  I also added a bit of washi tape to the card base to help ground the splats.

A glitter pen was used to add bling to her glasses frames and glossy accents added dimension to the glasses as well.  (Glossy Accents was also added to the heart on the cup with brushes.  This element, as well as the sentiment, are also part of the digi set.)

Love My Markers {Stampers Delights}

Hey everyone, it's time for the Stampers Delights April New Release for the Chibi (today, April 3), Kawai (Saturday, April 4), and Anime (Sunday, April 5) lines.

 Today I'm sharing a card created using the new Chibi image.

To begin this card, I created a digital background using Word software.  I added the black and white image as well as the splash of ink and one of the sentiments. I then printed it out and colored this cute little girl with Copic markers.  Glitter was added to her skirt, the heart in the sentiment, and her pom-poms.  I also outlined the image with glitter for a bit more sparkle.

Next I created a background mat using the splash of ink element that's included with the set.  I changed the colors (in Word) and then printed it out onto white cardstock.

The focal point was adhered on top of my newly created patterned paper and then to the blue card base.  A bit of paper twine adds the finishing touch.

Did you know that Stampers Delights now sells clear stamps?  How exciting is that!! And there is a special going on right now too!! Be sure to check out the bundle.

Anime Fairy {Stamper's Delights}

Hey everyone, time for the March Anime New Release from Stamper's Delights (formally known as Scrapper's Delights).

We have a brand new name that better describes the company products and lots more in the works as well.  Very soon, Stamper's Delights will be adding physical stamps to the store in addition to the digi stamps.  There is also a new line of stamps called Kawaii, so now you have three different stamp lines to choose from: AnimeChibi, and Kawaii.  Also, beginning this month, all three of the stamp lines will have their New Release on the first weekend of each month:  Chibi will be on Friday, Kawaii on Saturday, and Anime on Sunday.

Here is the Anime New Release this month: Anime Fairy (and she coordinates beautifully with the Chibi Fairy released on Friday).

This is such a wonderful and detailed image that is so fun to color.  I decided to pair the Anime Fairy with a sentiment from the Chibi Fairy new release because I thought this sentiment went perfectly with one of the elements from the Anime set.

After adding the various elements to my focal point, I printed everything out and colored the image with Copic markers.

I added semi-transparent pink glitter to her wings and some Spectrum Noir sparkle markers to the sparkly rays and some of the flowers.

Chibi Fairy {Stamper's Delights}

Hey everyone, time for the March Chibi New Release from Stamper's Delights (formally known as Scrapper's Delights).

We have a brand new name that better describes the company and lots more in the works as well.

Here is the Chibi New Release this month: Chibi Fairy.

This image was delightful to color with all the wonderful details that have been added. I combined a few of the elements from the digi set to create my focal point.  I also used one of the included sentiments.  After printing everything out, I colored the image with Copic markers.

I die cut the image using a Spellbinders square die (Grand Squares).  The sentiment was die cut using a Tutti Designs die (Dotted Nesting Rectangles) and a Sue Wilson Designs die (Shadow Box Collection-Stitched Square Peg Board). Tim Holtz's Holiday Greens Mini dies were used for the greenery.  I made one sample where I colored the dies cuts, but decided that it detracted from the focal point.  So I went with the all white look for the greenery.

Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers give added bling to the fairy's wings and several of the flowers. Unfortunately the angle of the above photo didn't catch the sparkle on the flowers, but it did a great job of showing all the sparkle on her wings.

Anime Baby Bump {Stamper's Delights}

Hey everyone, It's time for the Anime New Release from Stamper's Delights (formally known as Scrapper's Delights).

There is a brand new name and lots more in the works as well, including the addition of physical stamps to the store (this will be happening very soon) and a new line of stamps called Kawaii.  So now you have three different stamp lines to choose from: Anime, Chibi, and Kawaii.  Also, starting in March, all three of the stamp lines will have their New Release on the first weekend of each month.  Chibi will be on Friday, Kawaii on Saturday, and Anime on Sunday.

Today's Anime New Release has three images to choose from: Anime Baby Bump, Anime For Someone Special, and Anime You Are Invited.

I've chosen the Anime Baby Bump.  I layered the digital papers behind the black and white image and printed it out.  Then I colored the image with Copic markers.

I also added a few die cuts from Die-Versions (Baby Icons) that were die cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics for my finishing touches.

Chibi Get Well {Scrapper's Delights}

Hey everyone, it's the first Friday of February and that means it's time for the Chibi New Release from Scrapper's Delights.

I'm using the Chibi Get Well image.  You get a choice of a boy or a girl and I chose the boy.

I printed the image and one of the sentiments from my computer and fussy cut everything out.   The image is colored with Copic markers and Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers give color and sparkle to the letters.

The focal point is layered onto a die cut from Jaded Blossom (Triangle Card Mat die).  I cut it out multiple times from various patterned papers to give it a quilted look.

This is then matted onto a layer of glittery cardstock and finally to the blue card base.  Gemstones round out the design.

I'll be sharing the Anime New Release from Scrapper's Delights on the last Friday of the month (Feb 28).

TSA 2020 Blog Hop

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Many caring Sponsors and DT Members have partnered with us to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page. Thanks for learning About Turner Syndrome

Individual Blog Designers Prizes on their own blog post

My TS related project is inspired by the TSA official color board:

Now for a bit about my project.

I combined two digi images from Scrapper's Delights (Honey Pumpkin Pie, Anime VIP Virgo 1 Bundle) to create this spring card. I layered all the daisies and the butterflies on top of the pumpkins that were originally part of the main image on my computer and printed it out.  Copic markers were used to color the image, choosing colors from the TSA official color board.

I added Glossy Accents to her glasses and to the butterfly wings.  Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to the flower centers. Die-Versions (crochet lace) die cuts were added to the sides and my sentiment was die cut using a Spellbinders die (Fancy Tags Two).

Please remember to visit the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop 2020  page to become eligible for prizes.   I will also be giving away a prize (or two) to lucky commenters on my blog. :-)

Happy Hopping,

Happy Friday everyone!  It's time for the Anime New Release from Scrapper's Delights!  There are three new Anime images for this month "Anime BFF, Aquarius Anime VIP, Pisces Anime VIP".

I am using the Aquarius Anime VIP image.

I decided to create a side step card using various elements that are included in this set.  The image is colored with Copic markers and colored pencils.  I added Spectrum Noir to her hair and to the stars for added sparkle.

Scrapper's Delights - Anime Xmas Wreath and Chibi VIP Deal Capricorn

Hey everyone, today Scrapper's Delights is combining the Anime New Release and VIP Deal, which is normally the last Friday of the month, with the Chibi New Release and VIP Deal, which is the first Friday of the month.  This special event is so that we can all enjoy the holidays without feeling stressed to get things done at the last minute.  This gives you time to create a few more cards or projects using both of these New Releases 😀.

First up, I'd like to share my Anime New Release.  There are three new images (Anime Xmas Stocking, Anime Xmas Tree, Anime Xmas Wreath) plus the VIP Deal.  The best deal is to get the VIP Deal as you'll receive all three of the new Anime images as well as the Zodiac image and tons of elements.

I used the Anime Xmas Wreath image and colored her with Copic markers.  One of the things I really like about these digi sets is that one of the .pngs is in an outline form.  So, if you want to add patterned paper for clothing, for example, it's really easy to do.  That's exactly what I did for her top.  I layered the outline image on top of the digital paper, angled it in the pattern I wanted, then printed it out.  After it printed, I fussy cut out the top and paper pieced it on top of main card that I printed.
All of the patterned papers and frames are digital.  Even though it looks as if it has some dimension, it's flat for easy mailing!

I also colored the wreath with Copics and added Nuvo Crystal Drops for the ornaments. Sparkle was added to the bow and ribbon using Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers

My sentiment is a Die-Versions Sweet Sentiment die that was die cut from a scrap of white cardstock and colored using the same Copic marker as the ornaments.

Now for my Chibi VIP Deal card.  There are also three new Chibi images being released today and the VIP Deal.  The Zodiac VIP Bundle Deal is definitely the best way to go.

I used a number of elements from the Chibi Zodiac VIP Deal set to create today's card, including the oval, the seaweed, the date banner, and the cute little critters in the lower left .

I started out by positioning the image and the elements where I wanted them, then I layers a couple different patterned papers behind the scene I created and printed it out.  I printed the two little guys separate from the main focal point and fussy cut them out.

Copics were used to color the images.  Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers give added sparkle throughout the card.

I fussy cut out the focal image and then layered it onto patterned paper and created my frame with a Sue Wilson Designs die set (Noble dies-Double Pierced Rectangles Set B) and dark blue cardstock.

After everything was adhered to my card base, I added the two little guys in the lower left corner with dimensional tape.

Scrapper's Delights will be starting the New Year with brand new images and other fun things that are still under wraps for the moment.  I'll be back with another Scrapper's Delights project using one of the Chibi New Releases on Friday, January 3.

Until next time........
