TSA 2020 Blog Hop

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Many caring Sponsors and DT Members have partnered with us to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page. Thanks for learning About Turner Syndrome

Individual Blog Designers Prizes on their own blog post

My TS related project is inspired by the TSA official color board:

Now for a bit about my project.

I combined two digi images from Scrapper's Delights (Honey Pumpkin Pie, Anime VIP Virgo 1 Bundle) to create this spring card. I layered all the daisies and the butterflies on top of the pumpkins that were originally part of the main image on my computer and printed it out.  Copic markers were used to color the image, choosing colors from the TSA official color board.

I added Glossy Accents to her glasses and to the butterfly wings.  Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to the flower centers. Die-Versions (crochet lace) die cuts were added to the sides and my sentiment was die cut using a Spellbinders die (Fancy Tags Two).

Please remember to visit the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop 2020  page to become eligible for prizes.   I will also be giving away a prize (or two) to lucky commenters on my blog. :-)

Happy Hopping,

DELIGHTFUL card!
LOVE the details in your design and how you were INSPIRED!
I hopped along last year. There are so many aspects to this genetic disorder that it is almost overwhelming, especially when we remember that less than 2% of babies conceived survive to birth, precious girls that face the challenges each day with their families. I appreciate this opportunity to learn more again this year, especially about MIRACLE girls like Julie and her AMAZING Mother Lori!
THANK YOU for sharing and supporting the Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop :)
PS - I'm in Australia, so please don't include me in your prize draw
