And now for a bit about my project.

I created a square card with the new  Corner Garden stamp set and a stamp positioner.  The new Tim Holtz Stamp Platform would be the perfect tool to make this super easy.  (SNS is taking pre-sales of this awesome tool, which begins shipping in a couple weeks.)

I began this project a little backwards from what I normally do.  I die cut the background first using the Tonic Studios Greek Temple layering set then I preceded to do my stamping.

I stamped the corner image in one corner and then turned the paper to stamp the same image in the opposite corner.  Next I placed the sentiment in the center and then stamped it with Memento Cottage Ivy ink.  I immediately poured Clear embossing powder over the ink and heat set it.  Even though this is a dye ink, if you are fast, you can emboss it 😊.

The flowers are colored with Copic markers and Fuchsia Glass Glitter was added to the centers.

Several Nuance pigment powders (Violet, Hot Pink, Bright Yellow, Cerulean Blue) were added to my craft mat and then spritzed with water.  I then ran plain white cardstock through the puddles to create a watercolor background for my butterflies.  Once I was happy with it and the cardstock was completely dry, I stamped several butterflies onto the cardstock with VersaMark and heat set them with Brown Fizz embossing powder.  Then I fussy cut a few of them and adhered them here and there.

I wanted to add color behind the die cut, so I used 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape, cut my strips down the middle, and then adhered it to the backside of my project.  this allowed the openings on the front to have adhesive.  I then added Dogwood Rose velvet glitter to the adhesive and burnished it into the openings with my fingertip.

The focal panel was then adhered to green cardstock.  The final step was to dry emboss the card base with a Sue Wilson embossing folder (Climbing Vines) before pop dotting the focal panel on top.

I'm the last stop on the SNS Blog Hop.  We hope you have enjoyed what the Designers have created for you.  Be sure to leave each of us a comment for you chance to win all the rubber stamps revealed this month.

Wahhhh! I want that die cut set! LOL It's gorgeous. If I cannot have one in my stash, at least I can see the pretties you make with it, Anne. Your card is beautiful. Looks like with both used the Dogwood Rose Velvet glitter - great minds! Loving the highlights in your flowers, and the pretty multi-color butterflies that bring just the right amount of yellow and orange to pop out the lovely purple-pink theme! Lovely! Wishing you a fantastic week-end. hugs, de
