Fun with Altered Items

Here are some items that I recently had fun altering.   The first one was a plain 6x6 cardboard box.  I used scrapbook papers, Nestabilities (Fleur de Lis) and ribbon (attached inside the front panel and the top panel) to give it some personality.

The next altered project is my Heat-It gun by Ranger.  It was plain white and I used my blending tool and alcohol inks to give it a really cool look.  This was a lot of fun to alter, but be aware - you will get ink all over your fingers.  (Rubbing alcohol or Purell will help get the alcohol inks off faster.)  So. if you don't like the color of your machine/tools - just change it!

My next project was a black spiral notebook cover.  I used Distress inks, Tim Holtz masks, quilled flowers, and a little ribbon to give it a whole new look.
