Poor Harold, his hammock has definitely seen better days; it's all frayed and wearing out but he can't find another red one! I used Copic markers to color this image and Distress inks (Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Brushed Corduroy, Forest Moss, Bundled Sage) to create my sponged background. For added depth, I pop dotted the top of the image and left the bottom flush along the background.
Here is a close up, so you can see the netting I used for the hammock and how I pop dotted part of it. The sentiment is attached with a brad, so you can move it around some if you want.
Copics used: E50, E51, E53, R20 G17 C3, C5 R35, R37, R39, RV99 YR16, YR12, YR00, R11 B24, B26, TY16 B0000, B23, B24, B26 E57, E59 Y13, Y15
Other ingredients: eyelets, netting, brad, pop dots

Fabulous card Anne, love the netting for the hammock, absolutely perfect. I just worry he's going to spill his drink.
What great and inspirational use of recycling bits from the home. Great image on a great card
What a really great card! I so remember my Dad resting in our hamock growing up. His beer didn't have a lemon slice though... Oh! I guess this guy was drinking iced tea... (:-)

Love this!!! I have a problem with the saying!!!!! Love the nap but with a drink in your hand that is alcohol abuse! Hee hee Nice work as always!

Loooooove the netting on the hammock!! What a great 3D project LOL Harold has it made in the shade. I think he really should lay off the Long Island Iced Teas though. when he tries to get out of that hammock someone may need to dial 9-1-1!! LOL
