Moody for Dragonflies

Today's challenge from the Digi Makeup Challenge is Things with Wings.

Moody for Dragonflies from Paper Makeup Stamps, fit the theme perfectly with all those dragonflies flitting about.  And before you start thinking it, I didn't forget to color parts of her in.  I chose to do a variation of the spotlighting technique (where you highlight a certain portion of the image).  She's colored with Copic markers and the wings of the dragonflies are also painted with a touch of Smooch pearilized pigment ink (iridescent).

Now it's your turn to show us Things with Wings.  You have one week to upload your creation to the Digi Makeover Challenge blog.  While you're there, don't forget to see what the rest of the team created for you.

Copics used: E50, E51, E93, BV20    R81, R83, R85   BV31    BG0000, BG10, YG11, BG11,  BG13

What a cool technique! I am going to try it (you probably did it to show the technique, but I would do it just so I didn't have to color the hair - LOL). Fun colors and love the dragonflies!! I think dragonflies are so cute, but a giant one got in the car with me a few days ago and I went into a major panic. I was thinking - what if dragonflies really aren't as sweet as I thought they were and that one bites me (it was big enough to take a big bite). It sure was pretty though - amazing colors on those things. Oh, there I go rambling again....back to your card... very beautiful!!!
