Be Mine
It's time for a new challenge from Pattie's Creations: create a Valentine's Day card. Perfect timing since Valentine's is only a few days away. I've used the Valentine Bear Be Mine from Pattie's Etsy shop.
I printed him out multiple times so I could add lots of dimension and I used two different colors of ultra fine Flower Soft for his body. Copics were used to color the small areas and Glossy Accents covers the "Be Mine" heart. He's so soft and furry in person - just like a real teddy bear!
His backdrop is old patterned paper from Creative Memories and is cut using a Spellbinders die. The outside rick-rack die is from Lifesyle Crafts. I added a touch of lace colored with Distress Stains, and this little cutie is all ready to go in the mail.
You'll have two weeks to upload your Valentine's Day project to the Pattie's Creations Design Challenge blog. Don't forget to visit the rest of the team and see what they've created for you as well.
Happy Valentine's Day!

What a super cute teddy. Don't know how you managed to keep the flowersoft inside the lines - but you did a great job.
Anne, I've been waiting for this post to see how you made the 'fur', it's so like-like! I think I have Flower Soft somewhere in my supplies. Great dimension and loving the glossy heart!

Hi, Anne! That flower soft really created wonderful dimension on your cute teddy bear! A sweet little valentine - love that die around the edge, too! You have done a beautiful job with the "tole" work on the teddy - it's gorgeous!
So cute and sweet! I love the fuzzy bear and shiny heart!
What a sweet valentine card. Love how the flower soft added to much to the little fuzzy bear :)
Adorable card. Love how you made the bear so soft and plush looking with the flower soft.
