I created this card for a very special man in my life. (I just can't believe he's turning 21 today!).
The digi image was a FB freebie from Mayzy Art and is based on the BBC Sherlock Holmes TV show. My son and I discovered the series this past summer and watched all 4 seasons over the course of the summer. Needless to say, we like Benedict Cumberbatch's version of Sherlock Holmes.
The image is colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out. All of the dies I used are from Die-Versions (Happy Birthday Corner Concept, Editor in Chief font, Short Stop font).

Anne this is an awesome card and I love how you showed the birthday year. Great job on the texture of his sweater. Sorry I have not been around been trying to get things done around the house as I hate to do them in the summer. Happy Birthday to your son - I wish he was at UAB so he could meet my daughter - LOL! Wouldn't that be fun! Love this image and your card is incredibly fun! Love the chalkboard too. I am going to have to check out that show if Sherlock looks like this. You know this card reminds me of our DudeTime days - I miss them! Hugz!
Well done - I recognized Mr. Cumberatch immediately! Di you see the show where is real Mum and Dad played his parents. I think the way they do his hair is much more appealing than the way he does it in real life. Love the show - love your card!
