Today's card uses three of the New Releases from Die-Versions: the Torn Notebook Straight Edge, the Diamonds Background, and the Gatsby font. Plus, I also used the Happy Birthday Corner Concept to create my sentiment. The rest was hand written.
I started off with a journaling card and cut the Torn Straight Edge. If you look closely, you'll see how it also creates a perforated edge just to the right. This definitely reminded me of notebook paper. I inked up the torn edges a little and punched holes with a typical school hole punch.
The large TO DO List is the Gatsby font and I used a Spica glitter pen to add a bit of sparkle. A Spica pen was also used to outline the diamonds on the bottom of the card. These are actually some of the negative parts form the Diamonds Background die. (Love trying to use all the parts and pieces of a die cut.)
The base card was dry embossed with an embossing folder (Mystic). A couple paper flowers were layered together and a large gem brad was added to the center.
This was a pretty quick and easy birthday card to put together. Gotta love that!
