Winter Wishes

Winter Wonderland is one of the new Die-Stamp sets recently debuted at Die-Versions.    For today's wintery card, I started out by stamping my moose onto white cardstock, die cutting him with the coordinating die, and coloring him with Copics.   Buff flock was added to his antlers and hoofs.

The trees were each die cut twice - once in vellum and once in green cardstock.  Next I stamped the trees with VersaMark onto the vellum and heat embossed each one with Shasta Puff embossing powder.  I layered these on top of the green die cut trees.  The sentiment, which is part of the Winter Wonderland stamp set, was stamed with VersaMark and heat embossed with Blue Silver embossing powder.

Cloud Nine velvet glitter was used to create my snow.  I applied brushable glue to the ground and added dots of dimensional glue for my snowflakes and then covered everything with the Cloud Nine velvet glitter.

For the blue cardstock base, I wanted a subtle pattern so I stamped the smallest of the three snowflakes from the set with VersaMark onto the open space of the cardstock and heat set it, leaving a perfect watermarked image.

There are ten new die and coordinating clear stamp sets that were recently released and all are so cute.  If you haven't checked out these new coordinating die sets yet, you really should.

Love that cute deer! Super fun scene and I love all the glitter and "velvet" on his horns (could be a girl though - someone shot a doe with horns somewhere in AL the other day). Very cool card Anne. Hugz
