Love is Sharing Your Dessert {Scrapy Land Challenge #11}

inside
It's the first Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for a new Scrapy Land Challenge.  The theme for the first challenge of each month is Anything Goes, Plus use any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.

The dies that were used for today card are
- Die-Versions Love Pop Up die
- Die Versions Cupid die
- Lifestyle Crafts/We R Memory Keepers Nesting Hearts

For today's card, I was able to incorporate this challenge along with Sparkle N Sprinkle's new Berry Sundae rubber stamp set.  When I saw this sentiment, which is part of the stamp set, I knew that I wanted to combine it with Die-Versions Love Pop Up die and substitute the "O" for the dessert.

The sundae is colored with Copic markers and a number of embossing powders.  Shasta Puff was used on the whip cream, Yellow Spark on the bananas, Velvet Sparkle on the berries, and Sparkle on the glass bowl.  Firecracker Red embossing powder was used for the sentiment and Tomato Red tinsel glitter was added to the pop up letters.  I also added Velvet Sparkle embossing powder to the area that is seen behind the pop up letters for a subtle touch of bling.

The sentiment was stamped on pink cardstock die cut with the Nesting Hearts and was adhered to a piece of Super Adhesive Sheet that was die cut from the next larger nesting heart.  Cloud Nine velvet glitter was added to the exposed adhesive surrounding the pink cardstock.  Strips of Tear-ific Tape were also added for more visual interest and all were covered with Firecracker Red embossing powder and heat set.  The Die-Versions Cupid was die cut from a piece of black cardstock, covered with VersaMark and heat set with Sparkle embossing powder.

The front of the Pop Up card uses coordinating nesting hearts, along with the Die-Versions Cupid.

You have until Feb. 15th to upload your project to the Scrapy Land Challenge.  It would be extremely helpful to the team members if you would mention which brand of dies you used to create your project.  The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land.  Be sure to check out what the rest of the team has created for you as well.

What a fun card Anne. Love the combination - hearts, Cupid and desserts. That pop out "Love" looks awesome decked out in tinsel and all the added embossing powders to the sundae are a great touch.
