Victorian Camille at Christmas is a wonderful image to color. I was fortunate enough to be the colorist for the Sparkle N Sprinkle digital version and the laminated sheets that the rubber stamp sets come on. It's pretty amazing (and humbling) to see that so many of the other designers' used my colored version on their cards during the Reveal videos. 😁
Camille is colored with Copic markers and Pan Pastels were used for the background. I also added falling snow using a Sharpie paint marker. The berries were colored red and then Nuvo Crystal Drops (Strawberry Coulis) were added for dimension. Pistachio glitter was added to the greenery and Fire Engine Red glitter gives the poinsettia a lot of sparkle. Daisy velvet glitter was added to the center of the poinsettia. Her muffler has a bit of Twinking Clouds Sparkle N Soft flock added to it so it's nice and soft.
I die cut the focal image using a Tonic Studios die set (Mixed Edge Rectangle Layering Basics set). This is a great set to have because it is so versatile.
To continue the snow theme, I stamped the next two mats using one of the snowflakes from the Crystal Snowflake stamp set. To get this watermark effect, just ink up your rubber stamp with VersaMark and let the ink dry naturally (or you could heat set it.) This leaves a slightly darker impression.
The sentiment was stamped with a dark blue ink and then die cut using a Simon Says Stamp die set (Holiday Apothecary Labels). Next I added some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Spring Green, Cornflower Blue) to the die cut for a bit of color. Cornflower Blue embellishment mousse was also randomly added to the green card base for a bit of distressing. Black Ash embellishment mousse accents the edges of the card base.
