Block Sentiments {Jan's Digi Shop}

Happy Monday.  It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for a new Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges #9.  I used the  digi stamp set called Block Sentiments (3250J) from Jan's Digi Shop.

I needed a masculine birthday card for a guy who enjoys hunting, so I chose to print out the black and white happy birthday block sentiment.  My image is colored with Copic markers and then I fussy cut it out.

I decided to keep this pretty simple and let my focal point to all the "talking".  I adhered a piece of burlap to my card base to add a bit of texture and dimension and then added my sentiment.

If you like these Block Sentiments, be sure to check out Jan's newest companion set to this, Block Alphabet.

Now it's your turn to come play with us.  Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges is held the first and third Monday of every month.  Winners are chosen randomly and will have two weeks to collect their prize.  (All the details are under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top of the Challenge Blog page.)

Come get social with us:

Exciting news!!

Beginning in April, the Challenge will become a monthly challenge starting on the first Monday of each month and ending on the last Sunday before the new challenge begins.  Even more exciting is the fact that there will also be TWO winners chosen - one random winner will be chosen from the entries that use one of Jan's designs and one random winner from all the other entries.  Each winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Jan's Digi Stamps.

Until next time.....

I love this card, Anne. Adding the burlap behind the image gives such wonderful texture! Lovely job with the camo behind each letter. It does give a very masculine feel. :-D
