Celebrate {Fairy Stamper}

Hey everyone! Today's project for Fairy Stamper showcases a quick and easy card using the following stamps:

I began by creating this fun background using watercolor powders and a coffee filter to add color to a glossy sheet of paper.  It's an easy technique where you add the powders to the coffee filter, saturate it with water, then transfer the filter to the glossy paper. You can add more powders to the filter and continue using it to create more backgrounds.  Once you are finished, save the coffee filter and let it dry for a future project.

Once the background sheets were dry, I die cut it out using a Tonic Studios die set (Kit #24 - Celebration Easel die set).

I also die cut the center circle out of white cardstock so that I could stamp the Stone Wall.  Using a stamp positioner, I the stamped Bilmin with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink.

The sentiment was part of the die set.

Until next time,

Awesome background - that sounds like a fun technique to try! Great die. Certainly a fun celebration card!
