Cinderella Slipper

Another new stamp release from Sparkle N Sprinkle is the Cinderella Slipper (#528).  One of the sentiments reminded me of someone shaking up a snow globe, wishing for their fairy tale to begin.  So, that lead me to today's design.

The snow globe die set is by Impression Obsession.  The circle that comes with the set was a bit too small, so I substituted a bit larger circle from Spellbinders.

I stamped the shoe and sentiment, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, at the same time so my placement would be like I wanted it.  These were then heat embossed with Clear Detail embossing powder.   SNS Dimensional Glue was applied over the shoe and covered with Orchid glitter.  The "snow" in the snow globe is actually Swan Wing Tinsel glitter.   Copics were used to color the inside of the shoe.

The snow globe base was colored using Distress Inks (Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain) and a blending tool. The tag on the base (part of that set), was covered with Cloud Nine velvet glitter and then stamped with another one of the words from the stamp set.  Liquid Pearls (White Opal) was added for the nail tacks.

I stamped the shoe twice more so I could fussy cut out the flowers.  These are covered with Pistachio, Collegiate Garnet, Dazzling Rose, Sunny Daze, and Bubblegum glitters.  After all the glitter was dry, I pop dotted the two on the shoe and added another one by my sentiment.

The purple background started out as a piece of plain cardstock.  To jazz it up a bit, I first applied VersaMark to one side of a Cuttlebug embossing folder (Rosa) and then ran it through my machine.  Next I covered it with Clear Detail embossing powder and heat set it.  This added some sheen and darkened the recessed areas of the paper.  The card base was spritzed with Walnut Ink (Cherry Blossom) to give it a bit more pizazz as well.

Pretty!!!! Now if I want to break my neck, all I have to do is wear those fancy shoes. I do love the colors. But a snow globe is a good home for this shoe where it can sparkle forever!
