Gone Fishing

I used the Gone Fishing Truck, an eleven piece die set from the exclusive line of Cheapo Dies for today's project.  This was such a fun card to create and I love how each piece is individual and you "build" it however you'd like.

I die cut all the pieces out of white cardstock and proceeded to color each piece individually with Copic markers.  The bumper was die cut twice (once from the white and once from mirrored silver cardstock.)

The truck pieces were colored with a Nuvo Glitter marker (Venetian Jade) and the fishing pole was colored with the Nuvo Glitter marker, Purple Passion.  Both of these glitter markers are part of the Northern Lights set.  I used a silver metallic pen for the other parts of the fishing pole.

Distress Oxide (Broken China) was used to create the sky and Copics were used to create the rest of the country-side scene.

This is a great die for anyone who loves fishing but I also think the truck itself can be used for almost any occasion.  I envision die cutting a tree for Christmas time or pumpkins or apples for the fall, or a dog riding in the back 😀.
